School Discipline

• 01 Irregular attendance, french leaves, habitual late coming, leaving the school premises without permission, disobedience and any type of unruly and objectionable behaviour is considered to be grave act of indiscipline on the part of a student, which can lead to his/her expulsion from the school.
• 02 Students on their way to and fro from the school are expected to deport themselves in a responsible manner. The students who expect to reach home late after the school due to personal reasons must inform their parents/guardians in advance.
• 03 Students are expected to take proper care of the school property. It is for their convenience. They should not break/damage any item of furniture and fixtures.
• 04 They should not write, scratch or engrave graffiti on desks, chairs, bus seats and other surfaces. They should not damage or remove things belonging to other students.
• 05 Damage done even by accident must be reported at once to the Principal/class teacher/bus in-charge or any other responsible authority. Any one who notices something damaged must report the matter to any of the personnel mentioned above.
• 06 If a student causing damage to the school property is identified, he/she will be punished and imposed a fine suitably. In the event of collective damage to school property in a classroom, the entire class occupying that classroom will be charged the cost of the damages.
• 07 The school is not to be held responsible for the loss of personal belongings.
• 08 No money collection is allowed in the school without the prior permission of the Principal.
• 09 Following categories of the students will be liable for withdrawal from the school:
  a) Successive failure in two consecutive years.
  b) Improper and shabby dress.
  c) Irregular attendance.
  d) Indiscipline (Often punished).
• 10 Bus monitors and conductors are responsible for orderly behaviour in the bus. They must ensure that only those students who pay fare are travelling in the bus. Any unruly and indisciplined behaviour while travelling in the bus will result into the withdrawal of the students from the bus facility.
• 11 It is compulsory for all students to attend the assembly. Running and shouting is prohibited.
• 12 All the students should observe high standards in their general get-up, deportment and conduct. The use of abusive language is a punishable offence.
• 13 In order to acquire competency in Spoken English, all the students must converse in English while they are in school or in the bus.
• 14 Using unfair means in the examination is an offence. The answer sheet of such students will be cancelled. Repetition of the same offence will result into his/her expulsion from the school.
• 15 Articles found in the school are to be handed over to the Principal's office.
• 16 Parents are strictly prohibited to interview with their wards or their teachers in the class without seeking the prior permission of the Principal.

Norms Relating to Withdrawal of a Student From the School

• 01 If a student needs to be withdrawn from the school, the parent/guardian of that student must submit a notice in writing a month in advance, failing which all school charges for a month in lieu of the notice period will have to be paid.
• 02 A student can also be withdrawn on academic or disciplinary grounds, including submission of false information to the school at the time of admission. Disciplinary action may even involve expulsion. The Principal's decision in such matters is final.
• 03 The misbehavior on the part of parents/guardians with any member of the school staff may also lead to expulsion of the student from the school.
• 04 Transfer Certificate (T.C.) is issued only after all the school dues are paid off.
